So a few days ago, I noticed that subtitles started coming up on my video. I get this is a good idea for people who cannot hear that well, but they get in the way of the videos I’m trying to watch. Is there anyway to turn them off?
Hi… yes there has been a change on Youtube’s side. Depending on the video settings configured by the uploader, subtitles are now shown by default. We are working on a fix, it should be available in a couple of days.
