Unfortunately this is not possible right now. We are working on a feature that allows unbanning users though…

You can easily create a new Room and delete the old one to unban him.

Hi… im sorry but there is no update yet. You can either create a new room or your friend needs a new account. There will be an update to improve banning / unbanning at the beginning of 2017…
