Can you rent a movie on youtube and watch it in watch2gether?

Thanks a lot for your question. Right now Watch2Gether in limited to the content available on the supported platforms (youtube, vimeo,…) There might be an option to rent or buy content in the future but as you said there are some legal issues to be resolved first.

You should be able to do that but everyone in the room needs to purchase the movie and has to be signed into their YouTube account while on Watch2Gether.
